WHO ARE WE?
About Pier 26
While Pier 26 offers the very best in contemporary Irish cuisine and accommodation, it is also a venue steeped in history. For that reason, anyones who dines, drinks or stays at Pier 26 should get a real sense of its heritage, much of which has been maintained to this day.
The pub we now call Pier 26 has existed for over 100 years, with the establishment changing hands five times during that time. The current owners bought what was known as Lynch’s Inn by the Harbour and Pier 26 Restaurant at the end of 2017. Being local, they understood that although a facelift was required, it was essential that the imprint left by preceding generations remained intact.
With that in mind, the entire building has been tastefully redecorated, and the bedrooms given a modern makeover. However, you’ll still see the rich tapestry of history adorning the walls, with pictures of Ballycotton locals and visitors dating back to the early-1900s. Full of character, warmth and heart, Pier 26 is the perfect mix of old and new.

Restaurant Sous Chef
David is second in command in the kitchen, and like Colin, he has come up through the kitchen ranks. When you throw David’s knowledge and creativity into the mix, the result is something very special indeed.
